Involvement of Education stakeholders has been described as very important In moving the state of education forward as  government no longer has the capacity to have a totally free education policy. 

The Special Adviser to the Governor on  Education, Mr Jamiu Olawumi made this known while receiving the Kiriji Memorial college old students association and members of the Igbajo  community. 

Mr Olawumi  while appreciating them for being a responsive and responsible individuals said the Osun state Government realized early enough that there was  the  need to involve critical stakeholders in education in order to have a better education system, explaining that the move has attracted over N600m since the policy review in the states' education sector.

Mr Olawumi also appreciated the old students for complementing the efforts of Oyetola Government in reconstructing  the Igbajo/Ada road as this will sure help in getting easy access to the school. 

In his remarks,the leader of the team, Rev. Abimbola Osho appreciated the leadership of the Ministry of Education and the Oyetola Government on the reversal of some of the policies on education. 

He said, since the reversal of some of the policies, the old students of the school have embarked on some projects which will make the school now a model school.

Use farm tools, processing equipments given you to progress your farming businesses, Osun Agric Commissioner urges women in Agriculture

 Tobiloba-Taiwo Awofadeju  Osun State Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security, Hon. Tola Faseru, has enjoined the women farmers in the State, especially in Atakumosa East Local Government Area to ensure that the farming processing equipment, tools and livestock distributed to them are used solely for the purpose of growing their agricultural businesses. Osun LGSC career head directs HLAs to make imprest a first line charge

By Jide Akano Heads of Local Government Administration (HLAs) in Osun State have been directed to make the issue of monthly imprest their first line charge while dispensing their monthly allocation. This directive was given by the Permanent Secretary in the Local Government Service Commission, Barr. Adeoye Popoola at a crucial management meeting with the HLAs in Abere. Barr. Popoola who averred that it would be in the best interest of local government councils to pay monthly imprest regularly, in order to enhance work productivity  as well as boosting the morale of workers.
