Oyetola does not discriminate against any Religion in Osun, says Funke Egbemode.

 Commissioner for Information and Civic Orientation in Osun State, Mrs Funke Egbemode has admonished people on the need for more religious tolerance and harmony in the state .
 
Mrs Egbemode also  emphasised the need for all practitioners of different religions in the state to see themselves as working towards the same spiritual objective of serving one God to earn His favour on the day of judgement.

The Commissioner  made  these known in her Office while receiving a delegation of the  60th Anniversary Committee of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Liberation Catedral, Osogbo ,stressing that  Governor Oyetola has no special preference for any religion in Osun and the country at large.


Describing him as a very good Muslim, Mrs Egbemode added that Mr Oyetola treat and associate  with all members of different religious callings equally without any semblance of discrimination .

She told her guests that religion is a matter of personal choice and conviction that should not cause any disaffection or division between and among people of different religious callings .

She noted that God has been good and merciful to the people of the state of Osun to have specially given them a person like Governor Adegboyega Oyetola who, since coming on board the leadership of the state in the last three years has been piloting the affairs of the state with the fear of God.
 
" Oyetola did not just get to the office as the Osun Chief Executive  but has God as the pillar of love and support,Who has been guiding him fervently in taking Osun and its teeming populace to greater heights" emphasised  Egbemode. 
  
    However she  charged the different religious denominations in the state to continue  to be praying for the success of Governor Oyetola led administration and the State in general .
 
On behalf of the governor,  government and good people of the state of Osun, Mrs Egbemode  congratulated  the Redeemed Christian Church of God ,Liberation  cathedral, Oshogbo on its coming  60th Anniversary.

Earlier in his remarks, the  Zonal Pastor of the Cathedral who led members of the anniversary committee to the Commissioners office at the government Secretariat Complex on the courtesy call, Pastor Samson Opatayo appreciated Governor Adegboyega Oyetolas giant strides  in the state of Osun in spite of  paucity of funds.

The man of God acknowledged the worth and competence of governor Oyetola also  in making a difference, developmentally for the people of the state.

He equally lauded the religious harmony and unity taking the center stage  in the last three years throughout the state.
 
While formally notifying the Commissoner about the 60th anniversary Programmes of RCCG Liberation Cathedral ,OSOGBO which will kick off in earnest this week, the man of God on behalf of his church assured the Commissioner that it will not relent in praying ceaselessly  for the success of the  present administration led by Mr Adegboyega Oyetola.

Highlight of the courtesy call was a special prayer for the governor, members of his Cabinet and the entire people of the state of Osun.

Osun LGSC career head directs HLAs to make imprest a first line charge

By Jide Akano Heads of Local Government Administration (HLAs) in Osun State have been directed to make the issue of monthly imprest their first line charge while dispensing their monthly allocation. This directive was given by the Permanent Secretary in the Local Government Service Commission, Barr. Adeoye Popoola at a crucial management meeting with the HLAs in Abere. Barr.
