Re-mould the moral profile of the Society -Oyetola charges Religious Institutions.

Osun State Governor, Mr  Adegboyega Oyetola has flayed the on going moral decadence in the society with a declaration that religious leaders should not fold their arms watching the development go out of control.
    
To redress this situation, the Governor called on the religious institutions in Osun State and the country at large  to re-mould  the profile of the Society for good, stressing that it is their  responsibility.
    
Governor Oyetola explained this today at the 60th Anniversary and Thanksgiving of founding the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Liberation Cathedral, Osogbo.
      
He noted that the diverse challenges that the Country is facing calls for beaming search light on the Social Institutions with a view to correcting the attendant lapses .
       
He added that  "If the Church is okay, the Society would be okay because a good and functional Church impacts the Society positively".
      
The Governor who was accompanied with his wife, Mrs Kafayat Oyetola and some members of the State Executive Council to the 60th Anniversary service of the Church stressed that, all hands must be on deck to arrest the current moral decadence in the Society.
      
According to the Governor " The pandemic coupled with the  dwindling economy, rising cases of banditry and kidnapping in the Society are crises and conditions demanding pragmatic management and a rethink in our strategy. "We must respond now to contemporary issues, not neglecting the future, but giving due consideration to the challenges that plague our Country".
   
 " The Society and the leadership of the Country must prepare to watch and pray so that the prevalence of violence such as we have now could be mitigated". Concluded the Governor .
   
 Governor Oyetola enjoined the Church to pray for the political leadership of the Country. 

 The occasion afforded the Osun Governor the opportunity to tell the congregation that in the last two and half years, his administration has demonstrated capacity to be just and fair to all Osun people regardless of their political or religious learnings.
 
  In addition to this, the Governor also told the congregation in the church that, he has provided infrastructure and equitable service across the State while maintaining that all  citizens of the State  practice their faith without let or hinderance.
    
 In his sermon at the occasion, the Provincial Pastor, RCCG, Osun Provincial 1, Pastor Jide Oluwajobi whose bible lessons were picked  from "Genesis 12: 1-4, Genesis 15 and Genesis 17" said, there is divine purpose for everything in life no matter what one may be going through . The man of God noted that, God is able to start His work with anyone at any age.

The Cleric who spoke    on the theme "Divine Purpose" urged  people not to allow their age cage or discourage them.
      
According to him, " I want to advise you that, you should not let the length of your days of  patience be exhausted because, no matter how long it may be, God's purpose will come to pass.

" People that become great in life are those who are able to discover their purpose and if the purpose of a man is lost, the person is dead while alive". He explained.
    
 In attendance at the programme were the Secretary to the State Government, Prince Oluwole Oyebamiji and other top political and non political functionaries of the Oyetola led administration in Osun State.

Use farm tools, processing equipments given you to progress your farming businesses, Osun Agric Commissioner urges women in Agriculture

 Tobiloba-Taiwo Awofadeju  Osun State Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security, Hon. Tola Faseru, has enjoined the women farmers in the State, especially in Atakumosa East Local Government Area to ensure that the farming processing equipment, tools and livestock distributed to them are used solely for the purpose of growing their agricultural businesses. Osun LGSC career head directs HLAs to make imprest a first line charge

By Jide Akano Heads of Local Government Administration (HLAs) in Osun State have been directed to make the issue of monthly imprest their first line charge while dispensing their monthly allocation. This directive was given by the Permanent Secretary in the Local Government Service Commission, Barr. Adeoye Popoola at a crucial management meeting with the HLAs in Abere. Barr. Popoola who averred that it would be in the best interest of local government councils to pay monthly imprest regularly, in order to enhance work productivity  as well as boosting the morale of workers.
