Osun Govt. Empowers over Hundred Livestock Farmers under its Renewed OBOP"S3 Programme.

Another  efforts aimed at   empowering  women and the teeming youths who are into livestock farming business in the state of Osun took the centre stage today as the administration of Mr Adegboyega Oyetola  flagged off  the distribution of day old Chicks to over one hundred farmers across the state under a renewed  concept of Osun Broilers Out growers  Production Scheme 3 (OBOPS3) Program.
     
Commisioner for Agriculture and Food Security, Mr Adedayo Adewole,who was represented by the Director of Livestock Services in the Ministry, Mr Amos   Daramola  disclosed  at the venue of the distribution exercise in  Ara junction,Ede that each of the beneficiaries  is  expected to go home with two thousand day old chicks with vaccines , drugs and feed that would be enough to last between five and  six weeks .
      
The Agric and Food Security  Commissoner  hinted that the  program is specifically targeted at women and youths in the state to allow them to embrace Agriculture with more entrepreneurship vigour.

 While reemphasising the commitment of the administration of Mr Adegboyega Oyetola to continue to make Agriculture one of its top priorities ,he  described it  as one the best means of earning a living which women and youths in the state of Osun  should not  take with levity.
 
 He therefore urged all the beneficiaries of the new OBOP''S3  program to avail themselves of  its multifaceted advantages. 
     
One of the beneficiaries, Mr Nurudeen Ibrahim of Adin Farm in Oloki idi awe Ede appreciated the state government of Osun for the gesture.

 Similarly, Mrs Oguntuwase Adenike while expressing her gratitude  described the OBOP''S3 Agricultural programme as a renewed scheme  by the administration of Mr Adegboyega Oyetola to put smiles on the faces of livestock farmers in Osun.
