Osun Culture Commissioner, Dr. Obawale felicitates Governor Oyetola on his 67th birthday.

The Commissioner for Culture and Tourism in the State of Osun, Dr. Obawale Adebisi has felicitated the State Governor, Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola as he turns 67.

A statement signed by the Commissioner and made available to the newsmen described the Governor as a God-sent leader who has been working tirelessly to turn the fortune of the State around. 

Dr. Obawale also acknowledged that that the State helmsman also has the love of public servants at heart which necessitated the  prompt payment of salaries as and when due.

The political head of the Ministry stressed that the Governor has touched every sector in Osun significantly.

According to him, " I see Governor Adegboyega Oyetola as a complete gentleman  and a silent archiever. He is very focused and passionate about the well-being of the people of the State. 

" In his  less than three years in Office,it is glearing that he has turned the fortune of the State around despite the palpable paucity of fund."  

He then prayed that God replenishes the wisdom of Mr.Governor to continue his good works, beyond year 2022,as he advances in age.

Use farm tools, processing equipments given you to progress your farming businesses, Osun Agric Commissioner urges women in Agriculture

 Tobiloba-Taiwo Awofadeju  Osun State Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security, Hon. Tola Faseru, has enjoined the women farmers in the State, especially in Atakumosa East Local Government Area to ensure that the farming processing equipment, tools and livestock distributed to them are used solely for the purpose of growing their agricultural businesses. The Commissioner gave the charge while flagging off the distribution of farm tools, livestock such as Goats, Broilers and processing equipments, worth millions of naira, to women farmers, which was a project supported by the World Bank  in collaboration with Osun State Government at a programme held in Ilesha. Osun LGSC career head directs HLAs to make imprest a first line charge

By Jide Akano Heads of Local Government Administration (HLAs) in Osun State have been directed to make the issue of monthly imprest their first line charge while dispensing their monthly allocation. This directive was given by the Permanent Secretary in the Local Government Service Commission, Barr. Adeoye Popoola at a crucial management meeting with the HLAs in Abere. Barr. Popoola who averred that it would be in the best interest of local government councils to pay monthly imprest regularly, in order to enhance work productivity  as well as boosting the morale of workers.
