Osun Police Officer displays extreme honesty as he returns over #200,000 lost by a Trader.






History was made at Oloki Ede in Osun State yesterday where a Police Officer, Inspector Sheu Saliu of PRU,Osun Police Command displayed extreme integrity by returning over two hundred (#200,000) which was lost by a palm oil trader in the locality.                 
                                                     
Report from an eyewitness,a journalist at the scene,had it that the palm oil merchant,Mrs Bolarinwa Iyalode had earlier lost the money while riding on hired okada and was not aware of the misfortune until she reached Akoda.      
                                                   
The eye witness further explained it was after thirty minutes of frantic search for the lost money that Mrs. Bolarinwa began to trace the money from Akoda to Sekona, where the exemplary Police Officer who found the money handed it over to the owner at Oloki village along Gbongan road.
    
    
 Speaking with newsmen, the elated Mrs. Bolarinwa who commended Governor Adegboyega Oyetola's administration for taking security as one of his priorities  also lauded the State Commissioner of police for  maintaining and instilling discipline into Osun Police officers .                                  
                                                   
Mrs. Bolarinwa appreciated Inspector Sheu Saliu for his rare act of honesty, which, according to her, had saved her from being grounded in business.

 Tobiloba-Taiwo Awofadeju  Osun State Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security, Hon. Tola Faseru, has enjoined the women farmers in the State, especially in Atakumosa East Local Government Area to ensure that the farming processing equipment, tools and livestock distributed to them are used solely for the purpose of growing their agricultural businesses. Osun LGSC career head directs HLAs to make imprest a first line charge

By Jide Akano Heads of Local Government Administration (HLAs) in Osun State have been directed to make the issue of monthly imprest their first line charge while dispensing their monthly allocation. This directive was given by the Permanent Secretary in the Local Government Service Commission, Barr. Adeoye Popoola at a crucial management meeting with the HLAs in Abere. Barr. Popoola who averred that it would be in the best interest of local government councils to pay monthly imprest regularly, in order to enhance work productivity  as well as boosting the morale of workers.
