Oyetola charges Students to make education a top priority.


  


The Governor of the State of Osun, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola has charged teachers in the  employ of the state government to embrace productivity in their career as nation builders .


The Governor gave the charge  while playing host to the winners of this years  essay competition organized by his administration to mark Nigeria Independence.

Governor Oyetola particularly  expressed  happiness over the Sterling performance of  Faith Abisola Ade of Fakunle Comprehensive  High School,Osogbo  saying that her feat  attested  to the  huge investment of his administration in education.

Impressed by her performance,the Governor  announced a scholarship  to any Nigerian University for  Faith Abisola Ade.

   Earlier,the state  Commissioner for Special Duities and Regional Intergration,Hon  Olalekan Badmus explained that the present administration in the State is very passionate about youths development hence its huge investment in human and capital developments.

The Chairman and C.E.O of Rave FM Radio ,Osogbo ,Mr Femi Adefila who spoke on behalf of the Panel of judges put in place for the essay competition  commended the state  government for the unique way of celebrating Nigeria  Independence Day as against the traditional match past .
 
This years celebration was spiced with the presentation of a  brand new Toyota Corolla to the winner  in the Higher Institution category aside  cash prizes awarded  to other winners  in other   categories .

In his response, the winner of the essay competition  of the Secondary School category, Faith Abisola Ade appreciated the Governor for his love and passion for the youths especially in their educational emancipation . He described the gifts given to all the winners as  inspirations  and motivations  that will spur them to do more in their educational careers .
