Oyetola will not deviate from his electioneering campaign promises, says Egbemode.


 Osun State Commissioner for Information and Civic Orientation, Mrs Funke Egbemode has restated the committment of the Governor of the State, Adegboyega Oyetola to all the promises made during his electioneering campaigns.                            
 Mrs Funke Egbemode, who reaffirmed this during a television programme said  the Governor will not relent until he achieves all the election campaign promises made to the people of the State.    

 While itemizing some of the achievements of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola in his three-year administration in respect of renovation of 332 primary health centers, payment of workers salaries up to date, social infrastructure of all kinds, inauguration of  Osun trade fair and many more. The Commissioner said government remains committed to do more for the people. 
                       
The Information Ministry boss further harped on the need for journalists in the State not to shy away from their responsibilities, urging them that they should always come to her office if there is any question to ask about this present administration .                          
 While assuring the newsmen of her availability anytime, Mrs Egbemode reminded them that no matter where she may be at the moment, she remains  journalism family member.          

 Egbemode who used the medium to answer questions pertaining to the condition of some of the mega school buildings, said Mr Governor will not toy with the lives of students in Osun,  stressing that the affected school structures will be swiftly fixed in order to prevent building collapse.     
                
She then used the opportunity to appeal to the people of the state, not to entertain any fear as the situation is under control.

Use farm tools, processing equipments given you to progress your farming businesses, Osun Agric Commissioner urges women in Agriculture

 Tobiloba-Taiwo Awofadeju  Osun State Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security, Hon. Tola Faseru, has enjoined the women farmers in the State, especially in Atakumosa East Local Government Area to ensure that the farming processing equipment, tools and livestock distributed to them are used solely for the purpose of growing their agricultural businesses. The Commissioner gave the charge while flagging off the distribution of farm tools, livestock such as Goats, Broilers and processing equipments, worth millions of naira, to women farmers, which was a project supported by the World Bank  in collaboration with Osun State Government at a programme held in Ilesha. Osun LGSC career head directs HLAs to make imprest a first line charge

By Jide Akano Heads of Local Government Administration (HLAs) in Osun State have been directed to make the issue of monthly imprest their first line charge while dispensing their monthly allocation. This directive was given by the Permanent Secretary in the Local Government Service Commission, Barr. Adeoye Popoola at a crucial management meeting with the HLAs in Abere. Barr. Popoola who averred that it would be in the best interest of local government councils to pay monthly imprest regularly, in order to enhance work productivity  as well as boosting the morale of workers.
