Osun 2022: LGSC Boss congratulates Oyetola on his emergence as party flagbearer

                     
                                                       
Chairman,Osun Local Government Service Commission (LGSC),Elder Tunde Adedeji has congratulated the State helmsman,Mr.Adegboyega Oyetola on his recent emergence as the ruling party flagbearer in July Governorship election, describing the victory as clean,clear and overwhelming.                       
                                                 
In a congratulatory message issued in Osogbo,Elder Adedeji observed that the landslide victory recorded by the Governor in all local government areas of the State, including that of other contenders,is a clear indication of the fact that his candidature is "superbly popular".                
                                                 
The LGSC Boss pointed out that the peace and tranquility which attended the process, despite the tension that was generated before the primary election,is an attestation to divine backing which Governor Oyetola had graciously enjoyed hitherto.                 
                                                   
Said he: "This election has concretised my strong belief that Governor Oyetola is an enigma who enjoys unusual divine backing for the job.                              
                                                
"The ease and finnese with which Mr Governor has been administering the State, despite daunting challenges, makes it palpably clear that this man enjoys a measure of grace in divine support.",Elder Adedeji concluded.                
While acknowledging that the Governor is a God-fearing personality with positive character traits and a leader who is worthy of being given a second chance, the LGSC boss prayed that the July 16 election will not only be peaceful and hitch-free, but will also be in favour of Governor Oyetola to enable him take the State to the next level.                                         
                                                   
He then appealed to all aggrieved groups and individuals within the party to close ranks and work together to make the second term vision a reality.                                     
 He further enjoined the entire State electorate to join the winning team by supporting Governor Oyetola whom,he reiterated,God is backing for the job.

Use farm tools, processing equipments given you to progress your farming businesses, Osun Agric Commissioner urges women in Agriculture

 Tobiloba-Taiwo Awofadeju  Osun State Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security, Hon. Tola Faseru, has enjoined the women farmers in the State, especially in Atakumosa East Local Government Area to ensure that the farming processing equipment, tools and livestock distributed to them are used solely for the purpose of growing their agricultural businesses. The Commissioner gave the charge while flagging off the distribution of farm tools, livestock such as Goats, Broilers and processing equipments, worth millions of naira, to women farmers, which was a project supported by the World Bank  in collaboration with Osun State Government at a programme held in Ilesha. Osun LGSC career head directs HLAs to make imprest a first line charge

By Jide Akano Heads of Local Government Administration (HLAs) in Osun State have been directed to make the issue of monthly imprest their first line charge while dispensing their monthly allocation. This directive was given by the Permanent Secretary in the Local Government Service Commission, Barr. Adeoye Popoola at a crucial management meeting with the HLAs in Abere. Barr. Popoola who averred that it would be in the best interest of local government councils to pay monthly imprest regularly, in order to enhance work productivity  as well as boosting the morale of workers.
