Osun Deputy Governor describes MIKANO Int'l LTD as partner in progress
Osun Deputy Governor, Benedict Alabi has described MIKANO International Limited as a critical player in the energy sector in Nigeria as well as a dependable partner in Osun Project.
The Deputy Governor stated this in Osogbo while receiving and simultaneously commissioning 25 Traffic Stands from the representative of MIKANO International Limited, Salako Nurudeen who represented the Chairman of the Company.
The Deputy Governor, who was represented by the Special Adviser to Governor on Works and Transport, Engr. Toke Olaniyan, noted that the donation of traffic stands by MIKANO International Limited is another important intervention to complement the efforts of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola in the area of transportation in the State.
The donation, according to Alabi," will also strengthen the road system management and entrench sanity in the metropolis."
The Information Officer of the Ministry of Works and Transportation, Olugbenga Oni reported to latterglorynews that, the Deputy Governor used the occasion to commend MIKANO International for supporting the State Government during the peak of ravaging Covid- 19 pandemic by donating necessary relief materials.
He then charged other corporate bodies to emulate MIKANO International Limited in it's constant and consistent social responsibility gestures, describing the organisation as a veritable ally in times of need.
The Deputy Governor highlighted the various achievements of Governor Oyetola in the areas of road construction and infrastructure across the nooks and crannies of the State.
He appreciated the donor for extending their business relations to Osun State saying that the gesture will go a long way in concretising business relationship between the State Government and the Company.
While further stressing that the donated stands will enhance the job of Traffic Officers, he therefore advised the motorists to comply with all the traffic laws in order to avert road crashes.
