Osun Information Commissioner identifies lessons from Valentine's day


Osun Commissioner for Information and Civic Orientation, Mrs. Funke Egbemode has identified unconditional love and care for humanity as two of the lessons, derivable from Saint Valentine's day,which must be imbibed by all and sundry. 

The Commissioner who spoke at this year's valentine's day celebration  through the Coordinating Director in the Ministry, Mrs Olubukola Aderibige stressed that love for  fellow humans  irespective of religion, race, tribe, sex or sentiment,among others are hallmarks of St Valentine.                                       

She emphasized the need for the young minds, especially ladies to be careful of desperate  opposite sex who might want to exploit the Valentine's day to lure them into sexual excapades.                    

While also speaking at the occasion,at which gifts were presented to workers for their outstanding commitment to duty, the Director of Administration and Supply in the Ministry,Olanike Oladimeji charged other members of staff to take a cue from the award recipients, promising that there will always be reward for hardwork. She also warned the youth to beware of their associations as the valentine lingers to avoid being used for libidinous desires.
 
Responding, the award recipients Mr Olorunsogo Ayodipupo and Mrs Obanijesu Faith thanked the management of the Ministry for considering them worthy of the award, promising that it will spur them to greater productivity.
