Oyetola opens newly constructed Iconic Ola-Iya flyover for public use




.....Promises more infrastructure across the State




 Osun State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola has promised more infrastructure development  and delivery of quality projects across the State. 

Governor Oyetola gave the assurance  today at Olaiya junction in Osogbo, while  opening the constructed Iconic bridge for public use. He disclosed that some roads will be commissioned soon, while maintenance of roads will be embarked upon across the length and breadth of the State.

The Information Officer of the Ministry of Works and Transportation, Olugbenga Oni reported to latterglorynews that, the Governor reiterated that his administration would continue to deliver on its promises to the people of the State. The State helmsman then charged motorists to drive in accordance with the highway code and signs.

Oyetola also assured the residents of the State of  adequate security around the newly constructed flyover bridge, advising  the people not to abuse the facility. 

While commending the State  Ministry of works and Transport for proper supervision of the project, the Governor extended a hand of fellowship to other well established contractors to partner with the State Government to move the State forward.

Speaking at the event, the Special Adviser to Governor on Works and Transport, Engr. Hussein Toke Olaniyan who was visibly elated, enthused that the completion of the Iconic Olaiya Flyover bridge will not only boost the social economic growth of the environment, but will also add beauty to the State capital.

He added that apart from enhancing the free  flow of  traffic in the area,  it will also reduce the rate of accident drastically.

Olaniyan therefore urged the people of the State to be committed to the present administration by supporting the Government at all times. 

Also speaking at the event,  one of the shop owners along the area, Alhaji Yusuf Mujeeb, appreciated Mr Governor for the gigantic bridge,which, according to him, will cause their businesses to be better exposed for improved patronage.
