The death of Tafa Oloyede; a collosal loss to the entertainment World, says Osun Culture Commissioner

Osun Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Dr. Obawale Adebisi has expressed shock over  the death of John Olawuni popularly known as Tafa Oloyede describing it as a collosal loss not only  to his  family, the government and people of  Osun State where he hailed from  but the  theater Industry as a whole.

This is contained in a letter of condolence personally signed by the Commissioner and made available to newsmen in Osogbo. In the emotionally written letter, Dr  Obawale noted that, John Olawuni was  a rear gem in the film Industry stressing that   the vacuum left behind by him would be difficult to fill. 
   
The culture and tourism commissioner further noted that, the late Veteran Actor  contributed immensely to the growth and promotion of Yoruba Cultural values in such a manner  that, his roles  impacted positively  the nation and the world at large in no small measure.

The condolence  letter reads  in part, " John Olawuni with the stage name, Tafa Oloyede was heroe in the theater Industry because, he  contributed immensely to the sustainance of Yoruba Culture and Tradition, not only in Osun State but in the whole of Nigeria and beyond. He distinguished himself in all his productions by teaching people moral lessons of life.

" There is no doubting  the fact that the demise of Tafa Oloyede will be greatly felt by  both his immediate family and entertainment Industry in Nigeria". He stated.

Dr. Obawale who also  commiserated with the family Tafa Oloyede left behind and other colleagues in the entertainment  Industry prayed God to grant the  repose  of the deceased a good rest in the bosom of   God.
 
It would be recalled that, John Olawuni a.k.a Tafa Oloyede gave up the ghost on the 1st of February, 2022.
