So sad: Parents abandon baby in hospital after birth in Ilesa


 

A baby boy has been abandoned  in a Maternity Home by his parents immediately after premature birth in  llesa, Osun State.

A release signed by the Coordinating Director, Ministry of Women, Children and Social Affairs,  Jide Falade indicated that the mother of the child was rushed to "Aseyori Ni Temi Clinic and Maternity Home" by her husband and mother-in-law  on the 14 th of February, 2022 with a complaint of stomach ache, but after several examinations, she gave birth to a premature baby boy.

 Falade further explained that some hours thereafter, his parents and mother-in-law  absconded, leaving the baby behind.

The release disclosed that all efforts made by the Police and the Ministry to locate the runaway parents had been fruitless. The Coordinating Director  therefore appealed to the members of public to assist in locating the relatives or parents of the baby.

Use farm tools, processing equipments given you to progress your farming businesses, Osun Agric Commissioner urges women in Agriculture

 Tobiloba-Taiwo Awofadeju  Osun State Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security, Hon. Tola Faseru, has enjoined the women farmers in the State, especially in Atakumosa East Local Government Area to ensure that the farming processing equipment, tools and livestock distributed to them are used solely for the purpose of growing their agricultural businesses. Osun LGSC career head directs HLAs to make imprest a first line charge

By Jide Akano Heads of Local Government Administration (HLAs) in Osun State have been directed to make the issue of monthly imprest their first line charge while dispensing their monthly allocation. This directive was given by the Permanent Secretary in the Local Government Service Commission, Barr. Adeoye Popoola at a crucial management meeting with the HLAs in Abere. Barr.
