 Osun State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola has described the out-going Accountant General of Osun,  Sunday Igbaroola as an accountant who is leaving behind an impressive track record of service for the State.

He explained that Mr Igbaroola has served the State diligently and has been an embodiment of good human resource to the growth and development of the Osun.

The Governor stated this while delivering a keynote address at a symposium organized by the  labour movement in Osun in honour of the retiring Accountant General.

Speaking further at the symposium which has as it's theme: "The Impact Of The Contributory Pension Scheme On The Lives Of The Retirees", Governor Oyetola who was represented at the occasion by the State Head Of Service, Dr. Olowogboyega Oyebade said Mr Igbaroola has been a wonderful man.

Governor Oyetola while speaking on the theme of the symposium noted that the topic is very apt because the State Government is determined more than ever before to continue to put smiles on the faces of Osun retirees.

Oyetola went further to announce to the excitement of the gathering Civil Servants that the circular in respect of the promises made to the workers during the last worker's day has just been signed and released for the promises to take effect.

In his goodwill message, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Social Intervention Programs, Mr Lukmon Abimbola Bello described the out-going Accountant General as man of his words who is so articulate in the discharge of his duties.

The Chairman, Joint Negotiating Council (JMC) of the NLC, Mr Bayo Adejumo said the out-going Accountant General deserves all the accolades that he is getting in terms of celebration because he is indeed a good man.

He said Mr Igbaroola has proven to be a good leader all through his years in service as he has not only been a good boss to his subordinates, but also ensured that they get the necessary training they need on the job.

Highpoint of the program was the presentation of an award as the "Labour Friendly Accountant General" to the out-going A.G.

Use farm tools, processing equipments given you to progress your farming businesses, Osun Agric Commissioner urges women in Agriculture

Tola Faseru, has enjoined the women farmers in the State, especially in Atakumosa East Local Government Area to ensure that the farming processing equipment, tools and livestock distributed to them are used solely for the purpose of growing their agricultural businesses. Osun LGSC career head directs HLAs to make imprest a first line charge

By Jide Akano Heads of Local Government Administration (HLAs) in Osun State have been directed to make the issue of monthly imprest their first line charge while dispensing their monthly allocation. This directive was given by the Permanent Secretary in the Local Government Service Commission, Barr. Adeoye Popoola at a crucial management meeting with the HLAs in Abere. Barr. Popoola who averred that it would be in the best interest of local government councils to pay monthly imprest regularly, in order to enhance work productivity  as well as boosting the morale of workers.
