Osun AG's retirement: Inter-religious Thanksgiving service holds tomorrow

An Inter-religious Thanksgiving Service climaxing the weeklong program of events in commemoration of the retiring Osun Accountant General, Mr Sunday Igbaroola will hold tommorow.

Venue of the thanksgiving service according to a statement by the organisers of the program is the Multipurpose Hall of the Local Government Service Commission, State Secretariat.

The program put together by the Christian and Muslim community of the Civil Service in collaboration with the Living Souls Church, Osogbo will commence by 10' O Clock in the morning.

The statement enjoins all invited guests and other dignitaries  to be punctual at the event to honour the out-going Accountant General, Mr Sunday Igbaroola who has  served the State meritoriously for 35 years.

Use farm tools, processing equipments given you to progress your farming businesses, Osun Agric Commissioner urges women in Agriculture

 Tobiloba-Taiwo Awofadeju  Osun State Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security, Hon. Tola Faseru, has enjoined the women farmers in the State, especially in Atakumosa East Local Government Area to ensure that the farming processing equipment, tools and livestock distributed to them are used solely for the purpose of growing their agricultural businesses. The Commissioner gave the charge while flagging off the distribution of farm tools, livestock such as Goats, Broilers and processing equipments, worth millions of naira, to women farmers, which was a project supported by the World Bank  in collaboration with Osun State Government at a programme held in Ilesha. Osun LGSC career head directs HLAs to make imprest a first line charge

By Jide Akano Heads of Local Government Administration (HLAs) in Osun State have been directed to make the issue of monthly imprest their first line charge while dispensing their monthly allocation. This directive was given by the Permanent Secretary in the Local Government Service Commission, Barr. Adeoye Popoola at a crucial management meeting with the HLAs in Abere. Barr. Popoola who averred that it would be in the best interest of local government councils to pay monthly imprest regularly, in order to enhance work productivity  as well as boosting the morale of workers.
