End of the year party: Osun First Lady reiterates assurance for all inclusive Government

Osun State First Lady, Mrs Adeleke has reiterated her husband, Senator Ademola Adeleke's commitment to run an all inclusive government without excluding women and children.
Wife of the Governor who was represented by Hon.( Mrs) Ayobola Awolowo gave the assurance during the edition of year 2022 end of the year party, organized by the office of the Wife of the Governor in collaboration with the Ministry of Women, Children and Social Affairs, held at the Government House Lawn, GRA , Osogbo.
Mrs Adeleke harped on the need for children, as future leaders, to be inculcated with leadership qualities that will adequately prepare them for future leadership challenges.
She emphasized that the focus of the event was to give the children, irrespective of their background, within the State the opportunity to savour the joy of the prevailing season as well as create an avenue for them to relate with their peers.
She then described the State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke as a lover of children who would do everything within his power to ensure their safety and welfare, charging all citizens of Osun to support the present administration in the State to actualize it's lofty dreams.
The First Lady however used the opportunity to call on parents and guidance to keep watch over their children, most especially "at this young and impressionable age when they can be negatively influenced with wrong application of the internet leading to multi-various social vices which are of great concern to the world at large."
Speaking at the occasion, the Coordinating Director, Ministry of Women, Children and Social Affairs, Mr Jide Falade commended the State Government for providing funds for the programme, to give the children in the state sense of belonging despite the fact that it is just coming on board.
In their separate remarks, the representatives of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Osun State Chapter, Rev. Idowu Olatubosun and the Representative of the Grand Imam of Osun State, Sheik Musa Animasahun felicitated with the children and prayed for the success of the new administration in spite of daunting challenges.
Present at the event were the management and staff of the Ministry of Women, Children and Social Affairs, Permanent Secretaries from various agencies of Government , Coordinating Directors, Parents , Guidians, and other well wishers.
Highlights of the event were entertainment and quiz competitions, riddles and jokes, cutting of the cake coupled with presentation of gifts to winners.
