End of the year party: Osun Governor's Wife reiterates assurance for all inclusive Government

Osun State Wife of the Governor, Mrs Adeleke has reiterated her husband, Senator Ademola Adeleke's commitment to run an all inclusive government without excluding women and children. 
  
Wife of the Governor, Mrs Adeleke, who was represented by Hon.( Mrs) Ayobola Awolowo gave the assurance during end of the year party ,organized by the office of the Wife of  the  Governor in collaboration with the Ministry of Women, Children and Social  Affairs, held at the Government House Lawn, GRA , Osogbo.

Mrs Awolowo harped on the need for children, as future leaders, to be inculcated with leadership qualities that will adequately prepare them for future leadership challenges. 

She emphasized that the focus of the event was to give the children, irrespective of their background, within the State the opportunity to savour the joy of the prevailing  season as well as create an avenue for them to relate with their peers.

She then described the State  Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke as a lover of children who would do anything within his power to ensure their safety and welfare,  charging all citizens of Osun to support the present administration in the State to actualize it's lofty dreams.

Mrs Awolowo however used the opportunity to call on parents and guidance to keep watch over their children, most especially "at this young and impressionable age when they can be negatively influenced with wrong application of the  internet leading to multi-various social vices which are of great concern to the world at large."

Speaking at the occasion, the Coordinating Director,  Ministry of Women, Children and Social Affairs, Mr Jide Falade commended the State Government for  providing funds for the programme, to give the children in sense of belonging, despite the fact that it is just coming on board.

In their separate remarks, the representative of Christian Association of a Nigeria (CAN) Osun State Chapter, Rev. Idowu Olatubosun and the Representative of the Grand Imam of Osun State, Sheik Musa Animasahun felicitated with the children and prayed for the success of the new administration in spite of daunting challenges.

Present at the event were management and staff of the Ministry of Women, Children and Social Affairs, Permanent Secretaries from various agencies of  Government , Coordinating Directors Parents , Guidians, and other well wishers. 

Highlight of the event were dancing and quiz competitions, riddles and jokes, cutting of the celebration cake coupled with presentation of gifts to  winners.

Use farm tools, processing equipments given you to progress your farming businesses, Osun Agric Commissioner urges women in Agriculture

 Tobiloba-Taiwo Awofadeju  Osun State Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security, Hon. Tola Faseru, has enjoined the women farmers in the State, especially in Atakumosa East Local Government Area to ensure that the farming processing equipment, tools and livestock distributed to them are used solely for the purpose of growing their agricultural businesses. Osun LGSC career head directs HLAs to make imprest a first line charge

By Jide Akano Heads of Local Government Administration (HLAs) in Osun State have been directed to make the issue of monthly imprest their first line charge while dispensing their monthly allocation. This directive was given by the Permanent Secretary in the Local Government Service Commission, Barr. Adeoye Popoola at a crucial management meeting with the HLAs in Abere. Barr. Popoola who averred that it would be in the best interest of local government councils to pay monthly imprest regularly, in order to enhance work productivity  as well as boosting the morale of workers.
