Governor Adeleke charges Osun Babes to step up their games

Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke has charged Osun Babes football club players to step up their games for them to be recording victory in their encounters.

Governor Adeleke gave the charge  while watching the football match between Osun Babes FC and Rivers Angels FC, played at the ten thousand capacity, Osogbo City Stadium, Osogbo.

 While signifying his intention and love  to develop Sports in Osun, Governor Adeleke explained this is why he is leaving no stone unturned in order to see that the flag of the State fly high in the area of Sports among other States of the Federation.

The State helsman who performed the official kick off of the match was welcome to the stadium amidst massive crowd of football lovers who were on ground to watch the football competition.

It was a serious encounter between the two teams but the match later ended 2-1 in favour of the visiting Rivers Angels.

After the competition, the Governor was taken round the premises of the stadium to see  some of the facilities therein which included the table tennis courts where he and his Deputy, Prince Kola Adewusi played a novelty table tennis competition together, lawn tennis courts and the environment of the stadium.

On the entourage of the Governor were the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Teslim Igbalaye, Chief of staff to the Governor, Alhaji Kazeem Akinleye, Hon. Sunday Bisi among others.
