Use farm tools, processing equipments given you to progress your farming businesses, Osun Agric Commissioner urges women in Agriculture

 Tobiloba-Taiwo Awofadeju  Osun State Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security, Hon. Tola Faseru, has enjoined the women farmers in the State, especially in Atakumosa East Local Government Area to ensure that the farming processing equipment, tools and livestock distributed to them are used solely for the purpose of growing their agricultural businesses. The Commissioner gave the charge while flagging off the distribution of farm tools, livestock such as Goats, Broilers and processing equipments, worth millions of naira, to women farmers, which was a project supported by the World Bank  in collaboration with Osun State Government at a programme held in Ilesha. Hon. Faseru appreciated the administration of Senator Ademola Adeleke and the World Bank for the good gesture, saying the Project will go a long way in boosting the overall economy of Nigeria. Osun LGSC career head directs HLAs to make imprest a first line charge

By Jide Akano Heads of Local Government Administration (HLAs) in Osun State have been directed to make the issue of monthly imprest their first line charge while dispensing their monthly allocation. This directive was given by the Permanent Secretary in the Local Government Service Commission, Barr. Adeoye Popoola at a crucial management meeting with the HLAs in Abere. Barr. Popoola who averred that it would be in the best interest of local government councils to pay monthly imprest regularly, in order to enhance work productivity  as well as boosting the morale of workers. The Career Head of the LGSC who announced that the posting of  eligible Officers as Deputy Directors of various Departments in the Local Govt Councils/LCDAs  would be released immediately, and he directed the Local Government Heads of Administration to ensure that the Deputies are properly treated as they should be in all ramifications.
