 .... dedicates victory to God, Osun people

The Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has promised to remain focused and driven by God in governing the State.

Governor Adeleke stated this while delivering his appreciation speech in his Country Home, Ede, shortly after the Apex Court of Nigeria affirmed his victory at the July 16th, 2022 Governorship election in Osun State.

The Governor who was overwhelmed with joy gave glory to God for allowing the light which has started radiating in the State to remain, saying, this marks another history in the democracy of the Country and Osun politics.

He noted that his Governorship is an affarmation of the government of the people, by the people and for the people, adding that his victory is a testimony that people should be part of the administration by the divine will of God.

He expressed  gratitude to the people of the State for their total support for him during the struggle. 

He further thanked the judiciary for the integrity of the Justices saying their affairmation to the truth and Peoples' will consolidate and strengthen  democracy.

He therefore enjoined every stakeholders in Osun to be assured that the validation of his mandate is a call to duty, a fresh demand for the dividend of democracy. While committing himself to expand the delivery of good governance, promising that people of the State will find pro-people Governor.

He however, sought  support of the people of Osun irrespective of political affiliations, noting that the State belongs to everybody and they must join hands to develop it.

He promised residents of the State that the good job will continue through the implementation of his five points agenda and focus on grassroots development, infrastructural revival of the State noting that, his administration will fight poverty, insecurity, unemployment, and underdevelopment in which they will all feel and enjoy the benefit of democracy.

The State helsman equally appreciated his family members ranging from his wives,  Titilola and Ngozi Adeleke, his brother, Dr. Deji Adeleke, Yeye Dupe Adeleke-Sanni and too many others for standing by him to secure the victory.

Governor Adeleke therefore dedicated the victory to God and people of the State.

NUJ to Induct Osun finance Commissioner, Oyebamiji, others into Hall of Fame.

The Nigerian Union of Journalists( NUJ), Osun State Council has listed Osun Commissioner for Finance, Bola Oyebamiji alongside other eminent personalities to be inducted into it's hall of fame in Osogbo tommorow. Other personalities to be inducted alongside Oyebamiji are: Chairman of APC in Osun, Prince Adegboyega Famodun, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Sammya Nigeria LTD, Engineer Adigun Sammy Oreoluwa and the Pioneer Chairman of NUJ in Osun State, late Comrade Lekan Awoyemi.
