Osun LGSC boss admonishes new NULGE branch exco not to despite small beginning

An appeal has gone to the new NULGE Executive of Osun Local Government Service Commission(LGSC), not to despise the small beginning of the branch,as it harbingers a lot of benefits.
This impression was made by the Coordinating Director in the Local Government Service Commission,Barr.Lekan Babalola at the inauguration of the pioneering Executive members of the Branch which was held in the Multipurpose Hall of the Commission,Abere.
The Carrear Head of the Agency,who recalled the failed attempt to secure the branch in 1996,when he was a junior staff in the Commission, expressed delight to witness the reality of the vision.
While assuring the labour leaders that the Commission is blessed with responsible,progressive and revolutionary management team,Barr.Babalola promised maximum cooperation to enhance NULGE assignment in the branch.
He then counseled the union executive to be civil in their dealings with the authorities, promising that they would not be denied whatever is their entitlement.
Earlier in his address,the State NULGE President, Comrade Kehinde Ogungbangbe,who announced the local government status of the new branch appealed to the management of the Commission to give maximum support to to new executive.
In his acceptable speech, the new NULGE Branch Chairman,Comrade Olufemi Fadeyi,who was full of appreciation to the management for the support given to make the vision a reality,promised to work in tandem with the laid down rules of the Union without abusing the magnanimity of the authorities of the Local Government Service Commission.
Highlight of the programme was the administration of oath of office on the executive members by the State Secretary of NULGE, Comrade Paul Akindutire Tunde.
The 7-man executive members has Comrade Olufemi Fadeyi as the Chairman,Abosede Abiona as the Vice and Olumide Oyedeji as the Secretary.
The remaining Osun Local Government Service Commission NULGE Executives are: Comrades Funmilayo Akande,Treasurer; Khadijat Buhari, Women Leader; Olayode Yusuf,Young Workers' Representative and Olufemi Ajayi as the Auditor.
The programme was graced by the entire management members of the Commission, including Alhaji Akibu Ibrahim, Director Finance and Accounts; Alhaji Basiru Bello,Director Administration, Training and Supplies as well as Mr. 'Sola Sonibare, the Director in charge of Appointment, Promotion and Discipline.
