Osogbo beautification: Residents hail Governor Adeleke's zeal to move State forward and attract investors

Residents of Osogbo, Osun State capital has commended the zeal and passion of Governor Ademola Adeleke to make the State attractive for investors.
They hailed the Governor for making painstaking efforts to beautify Osogbo the State capital and make it a town which can be ranked among other State capitals across the country.
The residents spoke during an inspection of the ongoing beautification work of Orita Olaiya - Abere/State Secretariat road by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Works and Transport, Engr. Bashir Bello.
Beautification of Orita Olaiya - Abere/State Secretariat road has since commenced with clearing of the bushes at the road median and immediately being replaced with stamped concrete which will be followed with painting of median kerbs.
Some of the residents spoken to also praised the Governor through the Ministry of Works and Transport for taking steps to put a stop to the incessant flooding which occurs along Ogo Oluwa road whenever it rains.
They said the improvement of the hydraulic structures on the road is a welcome development as they are assured that the flooding will definitely become a thing of the past on the road.
A fashion designer around Olosan bus stop, Ogo Oluwa, Miss Sekinat Araoye who praised the proactive steps of the Governor said the ongoing beautification work is a welcome development as it will no doubt improve commercial activities in the area.
In his own reaction, Mr Alabi Bayo who resides around Golf junction of the road expressed delight at the various work being embarked upon on the road, noting that flooding is now a thing of past in the area.
Speaking during an interview, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Works and Transport, Engr. Bashir Bello assured residents that the Governor is determined to continue spread development to every nook and cranny of the State.
He however urged habitants of the State to assist government in keeping the State clean and safe by not dumping refuse on medians and drainages.
