Osun LGSC PS solicits staff cooperation in his new assignment

The new Permanent Secretary in Osun State Local Government Service Commission, Barr. Adeoye Popoola has solicited the cooperation of the entire staff in the Commission to enable him succeed in his new assignment.

The new Commission boss made the request during his maiden interaction with the entire staff in the conference room of the establishment.

" Nobody can do this work alone. It takes individual efforts to secure cumulative success in any endeavor. My success is your success,and your success is mine. So, let's cooperate in love and unity of purpose to succeed together", Barr. Popoola enunciated.

The  Career Head of the Commission had earlier, with an emotion-laden voice, appreciated the Almighty God and the State Governor for counting him worthy of  the elevation.
Speaking at the meeting,the Director, Administration, Training and Supplies, Alhaji Basiru Bello,who also felicitated with the Permanent Secretary on his recent lifting, appreciated him for his timely request to meet with the staff, saying it goes a long way to prove the good report for which he is renowned.

In his remarks, the Director, Administration, Promotion and Discipline,Mr 'Sola Sonibare who expressed his heartfelt goodwill and prayer for the success of the new Accounting Officer, assured him that the Commission is a convivial environment of love, goodwill and diligence where success is inevitable. Mr. Sonibare further observed that the Commission is blessed with officers who are quick to learn and yield to corrections.

Highlight of the meeting was the inter-religious prayer rain showered on the new helmsman for divine support on his new desk.

Use farm tools, processing equipments given you to progress your farming businesses, Osun Agric Commissioner urges women in Agriculture

 Tobiloba-Taiwo Awofadeju  Osun State Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security, Hon. Tola Faseru, has enjoined the women farmers in the State, especially in Atakumosa East Local Government Area to ensure that the farming processing equipment, tools and livestock distributed to them are used solely for the purpose of growing their agricultural businesses. Osun LGSC career head directs HLAs to make imprest a first line charge

By Jide Akano Heads of Local Government Administration (HLAs) in Osun State have been directed to make the issue of monthly imprest their first line charge while dispensing their monthly allocation. This directive was given by the Permanent Secretary in the Local Government Service Commission, Barr. Adeoye Popoola at a crucial management meeting with the HLAs in Abere. Barr. Popoola who averred that it would be in the best interest of local government councils to pay monthly imprest regularly, in order to enhance work productivity  as well as boosting the morale of workers.
