Be of good conduct, Commissioner for energy urges members of staff

Commissioner for energy, Hon. Festus Adeyemo has urged members of staff of the Ministry of Energy to be loyal, dedicated and supportive of all Government policies and activities. 

The newly appointed Commissioner gave this charge during the maiden meeting with the management team and staffers of the Ministry.

 According to him, the Ministry needs a lot of proactive and innovative ideas that will move the state forward, explaining that the government will do all within its powers to create an enabling environment that will enhance productivity and better performance. 

He further encouraged the members of staff to exhibit a high sense of discipline and perform their official duties in conformity with work ethics.

In his response, the Permanent Secretary, Engr. Olusola Ajao appreciated the Commissioner and assured him of complete loyalty , support and dedication to duty.

Osun First Lady advises ICT trainees to maximize aquired knowledge

                                                                            Wife of Osun State Governor, Mrs Kafayat Oyetola has advised women in the  State, who have just completed a five-day training on ICT Infrastructure and Empowerment to maximize the knowledge aquired so that they will not only be financially independent, but they will also continue to contribute to the State economic development. Osun Debt Portfolio: Stop misleading the public with wrong narratives, DMO replies formal Finance Commissioner

Kingsley  Omoyeni Osun Debt Management Office (DMO) has cautioned the immediate past Commissioner for Finance in Osun, Dr Wale Bolorunduro to desist from misleading the public with wrong narratives as regards the State's debt portfolio. The DMO says Dr Bolorunduro should be reminded that he served as Commissioner for Finance for only three years in an administration which completed the two terms of eight years, hence he lacks full knowledge of what really transpired under the administration. This is contained in a reply by the Director General, Osun DMO, Dr Tunde Adejumo to a write up by Dr Wale Bolorunduro which was published in a weekly local newspaper "The Osun Defender" last week.
