Gov. Adeleke assures Osun citizens of more dividends of democracy

Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke has promised the people of the state more dividends of democracy through the provision of basic needs like  potable water among others.

The newly appointed Board’s chairman of Water Corporation , Hon. Olayinka Sam Oyedotun, disclosed this on behalf of the Governor at the maiden meeting he held with the staff of the corporation.

Hon.Olayinka Oyedotun explained that creating value and making life better for the masses are parts of the Governor’s top priority. 

 The chairman said that though the corporation has done a lot, but all hands must be on deck to move the State forward. 

Hon. Oyedotun charged all members of staff to come together and work as a team to achieve the desired goal.

The chairman assured all members of staff that all challenges facing the corporation will be carefully addressed,  charging them to bring and share ideas that will move the corporation forward. 
In her welcome address, the General Manager, Engr.( Mrs) Dupeola Jokotola appreciated the chairman and promised that all staff of the corporation are ready to work and carry out their duties and give the administration led by the chairman full support and the needed assistance required of them.

Use farm tools, processing equipments given you to progress your farming businesses, Osun Agric Commissioner urges women in Agriculture

 Tobiloba-Taiwo Awofadeju  Osun State Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security, Hon. Tola Faseru, has enjoined the women farmers in the State, especially in Atakumosa East Local Government Area to ensure that the farming processing equipment, tools and livestock distributed to them are used solely for the purpose of growing their agricultural businesses. Osun LGSC career head directs HLAs to make imprest a first line charge

By Jide Akano Heads of Local Government Administration (HLAs) in Osun State have been directed to make the issue of monthly imprest their first line charge while dispensing their monthly allocation. This directive was given by the Permanent Secretary in the Local Government Service Commission, Barr. Adeoye Popoola at a crucial management meeting with the HLAs in Abere. Barr. Popoola who averred that it would be in the best interest of local government councils to pay monthly imprest regularly, in order to enhance work productivity  as well as boosting the morale of workers.
