Governor Adeleke swears in Board Chairmen, Special Advisers



 ... enjoins them to be above board in the discharge of their duties

In line with the statutory responsibility of an Executive Governor of a State, Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke today sworn-in Board Chairmen, Vice-chairmen and Special Advisers, who will join him to pilot the affairs of the State. 

Speaking at the memorable event, held at Bola Ige House, State Secretariat complex, Abere, Governor Ademola Adeleke charged them to be above board in the discharge of their duties, saying his administration believes in following the rule of law and due process all the time.

He advised them to salvage the State with new ideas that can move the State forward, warning that he will not tolerate corruption and incompetence from them.

Governor Adeleke further stressed that he will not condone infighting and rivalry among the appointees, urging both the Commissioners and Special Advisers to work harmoniously and in collaboration with the career officers for the good of the State, while warning that all parties must work within the limit of their powers.

He also assured them that he will set up  machineries to monitor the activities of  political Office holders to see how they perform in their various places of assignments.

While responding on behalf of the Special Advisers, Hon. Ropo Oyewole appreciated the Governor for the privilege given them to serve.

He promised that they will work to see to development of the State, and that they will not let the Governor and the entire State down, advancing that, they will make sure the state experience all round development more than they met it.

The event featured entertainment by the Osun Cultural troupe.
