Rural devt. Commissioner seeks staffers support, dedication to duties

Osun State Commissioner for Rural Development and Community Affairs, Hon .Abdul-Ganiyu Olaoluwa has solicited the support of both the management and staff of the Osun Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP) to enable him deliver and for the agency to succeed in its statutory functions.

Hon. Olaoluwa stated this during his familiarization visit to Osun RAAMP at the testing ground area in Osogbo.

  The commissioner While charging members of staff of the project to be more dedicated in order to improve their productivity , the Commissioner said doing so will go along way in recording a resounding success.

He stressed that the Ministry of Rural Development and Community Affairs and the Osun RAAMP need working synergy as partners in progress with a view  to assisting  Governor Ademola Adeleke's Vision of taking the State to greater height.

 In his welcome remarks, the Project Cordinator, Engr. Popoola Rasaq Okediya, appreciated the Commissioner and assured him of  the staffers support, cooperation, commitment and loyalty  to assist him to  succeed in the tasks ahead of him.

Use farm tools, processing equipments given you to progress your farming businesses, Osun Agric Commissioner urges women in Agriculture

 Tobiloba-Taiwo Awofadeju  Osun State Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security, Hon. Tola Faseru, has enjoined the women farmers in the State, especially in Atakumosa East Local Government Area to ensure that the farming processing equipment, tools and livestock distributed to them are used solely for the purpose of growing their agricultural businesses. The Commissioner gave the charge while flagging off the distribution of farm tools, livestock such as Goats, Broilers and processing equipments, worth millions of naira, to women farmers, which was a project supported by the World Bank  in collaboration with Osun State Government at a programme held in Ilesha. Osun LGSC career head directs HLAs to make imprest a first line charge

By Jide Akano Heads of Local Government Administration (HLAs) in Osun State have been directed to make the issue of monthly imprest their first line charge while dispensing their monthly allocation. This directive was given by the Permanent Secretary in the Local Government Service Commission, Barr. Adeoye Popoola at a crucial management meeting with the HLAs in Abere. Barr. Popoola who averred that it would be in the best interest of local government councils to pay monthly imprest regularly, in order to enhance work productivity  as well as boosting the morale of workers.
