The newly appointed Commissioner for Water Resources, Hon Sunday Oroniyi has solicited the support and cooperation of members staff of the Ministry to enable him succeed in his new assignment.
The Commissioner stated this during the maiden meeting with the management team and staffers of the Ministry as he resumes office.
Hon. Oroniyi explained that it is time for all to come together and work as a team to achieve desired result.
The Commissioner said the administration of Senator Ademola Adeleke is ready to support the Ministry to fulfill its mandate, explaining that the welfare of Civil Servants is the number one priority in the Governor's 5 points integral action plan of the government which will be fulfilled.
The commissioner who gave the assurance that all challenges facing the ministry will be carefully addressed charged members of staff to come up with ideas that can improve and boost the ministry’s IGR.
While welcoming the newly appointed commissioner, the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry, Engr. Olusola Ajao, appreciated him and prayed that the lord will guide and direct him and promised that the Ministry and Agencies are ready to key into the Development Agenda of the Governor.
He added that the Civil Service will continue to give an unflinching support to the present administration.
