Late Rafatu Adegboye: A rear gem to Osun-Musibau Adegboye
An Islamic Scholar and Community Leader, Mr Musibau Adebayo Adegboye has described his late mother Alhaja Rafatu Olorunkemi Asande Adegboye, a.k.a Arowoseadinni of Mubaraka Mosque Osogbo in Osun State as a good mother not only to her children, but to the entire children that came across her.
Adegboye made this known while reacting to the death of his mother shortly after the Muslim burial in Osogbo.
According to Adegboye, "our late mama never discriminated, she took everybody as her children and she always gave us motherly advice that is presently assisting us in our entire human endeavour.
" Mama was also a philanthropist who love to take adequate care of anybody that came her way as she was a cheerful giver and worshiped the Almighty Allah to the end of her life"
Adegboye who further admonished other children to emulate mama who was also known as "Alhaja Onitsha" of her good behavior pray that Almighty Allah will give the entire family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
He admonished further that, the children should continue to be upright and hold themselves in order not to lose faith in Allah.
The funeral ceremony of late Alhaja Adegboye is expected to hold at Laro Timehin Grammar School, Asubiaro, Isale Osun in Osogbo on Sunday the 13th of August, 2023 at 10am prompt where people from all walks of life would join the Adegboye family to pay last respect for their late mother.
Late Alhaja Rafatu Adegboye who died last Sunday at the ripe aged of 120 years is survived by many children and grand children which includes, Alhaja Saratu Ayodele, Adegboye Musibau, Alhaji Yekeen Adetoro, Alhaja Yidiat Abduhammed while the grand children are, Adebisi Najimu, Adebisi Kabiru, Ayodele Abiodun, Adegboye Ahmed, Adegboye Saheed, and Adegboye Rofiat.
