Let's coorporate to move Osun LG service forward- Osun LGSC boss

The new Chairman of Osun Local Government Service Commission (LGSC), Hon. Tunji Adeleke Jnr has solicited the cooperation of the staff and management of the Commission to move the State local government service forward.
The Chairman gave the charge during his maiden meeting with the entire staff of the Commission.
Apparently enthralled by the warm reception accorded him and his entourage, the Chairman enthused : " I really appreciate this. I will not fail you. Let's cooperate to move the State forward together. I will be a delight to work with."
Earlier in his welcome remarks, the Permanent Secretary, Barr. Adeoye Popoola had promised unalloyed support to the current administration in order to achieve a hundred percent success, acknowledging that since the advent of Governor Ademola Adeleke the entire workers of the state have been enjoying unprecedented relief, and staff welfare.
Vouching for his management team and the staff of the Commission, Barr. Popoola said: " We are people of like minds that are highly motivated towards the realization of Governor Adeleke's 5-point development agenda for the overall benefit of the State.
Briefing the Chairman on the activities of the Commission, the Career Head of the Commission who pinpointed one of the statutory functions of LGSC as that of recruitment, promotion, discipline and training of local government employees on GL 07 and above, disclosed that the Agency has a total of 47 permanent staff, 5 casual workers recruited by the Commission and 2 security personnel from the State Government Security.
The State Commissioner for Integration and Special Duties, Dr. Bashir Salam who also attended the occasion in solidarity, gave assurances about the Chairman by saying:
"You will love this Chairman. He is young, but very matured. You will enjoy working with him."
Dr. Salam however expressed confidence in the character and ability of the Permanent Secretary, with whom he claimed to have been aquiainted over the years, and asserted that the entire management team shall cooperate with the new Chairman and guide him aright.
Also speaking at the occasion, the State NULGE President, Comrade (Dr.) Kehinde Ogungbangbe, on behalf of local government workers in the State, promised to give maximum support to the Chairman.
He testified to the ability of the Permanent Secretary, whom he described as an Administrator per excellence, to guide the new Chairman to succeed.
Highlight of the meeting was a guided tour of the Commission's Departments and facilities led by Permanent Secretary.
