Osun to step up documentation and monitoring of assets- Special Adviser O'SAMA

Osun State government is set to take measures that will ensure that all assets that belongs to the State are properly documented and monitored to guid against loss.
This was disclosed by the Special Adviser, Osun Assests Management Agency O'SAMA, Mrs Fausat Adebanjo during a meeting with members of staff of the Agency shortly after resuming office.
She said the issue of encroachment into government landed properties especially lands that belongs to government schools and non compliance by MDAs will soon be a thing of the past.
While hinting that officials of the agency will soon embark on visits to MDAs, the Special Adviser emphasised that O'SAMA is the sole custodian of both moveable and immovable State Assets of government.
She used the occasion to appeal to agencies of government to cooperate with the agency, urging them to urgently submit their updated asset list which includes: Vehicles, Furniture and Fittings, Plants and Machinery, Buildings and Landed Property, as well as the Office Equipments without fear or rancour.
While thanking Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke for the opportunity given her to serve the State, Mrs Adebanjo urged members of staff to be dedicated to their duties and ensure that they don't let the Governor and Osun people down.
She urged residents of the State that Governor Ademola Adeleke is determined to continue to put smiles on the faces of residents of the State.
