Asiwaju of Ikire land, Oyebamiji felicitates with Alapomu on second Anniversary
...says ancient town has witnessed unprecedented growth

The Asiwaju of Ikire land, Mr Bola Oyebamiji has congratulated the Alapomu of Apomu Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Kayode Adenekan Afolabi Atoyebi II on the occasion of his second anniversary on the throne of his forefathers.
He said the king has not doubt brought his wealth of his experience to bare in the rulership of the ancient town, as the town has continued to witness rapid growth and development in all areas.
Oyebamiji who is the Osun Commissioner for Finance in a statement of felicitation which he signed and made available to newsmen on Wednesday also congratulated the sons and daughters of the ancient town scattered all over the world on the occasion.
The congratulatory statement reads in parts, "The fact that the second year coronation anniversary is being commemorated with a colloquium, documentary and book presentation, in honour of Kabiyesi, is a testament to the quality of thinking available in the daily exercise of the business of administering the Kingdom.
"I am indeed very delighted to join the good people of the ancient town of Apomu for the second coronation anniversary of our highly- revered Kabiyesi, His Royal Majesty, Oba Kayode Adenekan Afolabi Atoyebi II, the Alapomu of Apomu.
"Kabiyesi deserves commendation for the admirable manner in which he has exercised traditional leadership since assuming the throne, the gains of this are emerging in the improved socioeconomic development of Apomu and the peaceful coexistence that exists among the people.
"Without any doubt, the last two years of Kabiyesi's reign have brought with it significant achievements in a manner that is leaving notable impact on the people of this kingdom.
"I specially felicitate Kabiyesi on this anniversary, it is my prayer that kabiesi to lives long on the throne of his forefathers and for the ancient town of Apomu to continue to experience unprecedented growth and development". The Asiwaju of Ikire Stated.
