I'm passionate about sports development in Osun- Governor Adeleke

Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke has disclosed that his passion for sports development in Osun is second to none.

Governor Adeleke disclosed this  during a meeting held with an Ex- International footballer, Victor Moses, in Lagos.

He added that sports is one of the major pillars of development in the world, noting that if harnessed properly, it is capable of providing jobs for the youth, thereby reducing unemployment and thuggery in the nation.

He further stated that during his inaugural speech, he isolated development of youth as his top priority, promising to  do everything within his power to promote youth development.

The Governor also charged the retired footballer to assist the State in  promoting sports, especially football.

He enthused that Osun is blessed with football talents, and will not want the talents to be a waste, stressing that there are lots of youths who are citizens of Osun that are doing the State proud in sporting activities throughout the globe.

While responding, the former Super Eagles player, Victor Moses, said he was very happy to meet with the Governor who has passion for sports development.

He therefore vowed to assist the State to discover hidden talents in sports so that they too can lift the State banner high in the comity of nations.
