Eil-El-Fitr: Osun Gov. Adeleke admonishes Muslims to abide by the lessons of Ramadan

Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke has urged Muslim fatefuls to abide by the lessons of Ramadan.
The Governor gave the admonition today at the Eid prayer ground, Oke-Baale, Osogbo the State Capital to mark the end of the barely one month long Ramadan fasting.
Governor Adeleke who was accompanied by top Government echelons and political functionaries such as: Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Teslim Igbalaye and Hon. Kolapo Alimi, among others, noted that the holy month of Ramadan was so sacred that it must be treated so even after the period.
He charged Muslim fatefuls to always pray for his administration to achieve all its campaign promises to the people, saying he will continue to give residents of Osun the much desired dividends of democracy which they voted for.
The Governor who was neatly dressed in line with the mood of the occasion of Eid El Fitri equally enjoined people to celebrate it with moderation as encapsulated in the tenets of the religion of Islam.
Earlier in his sermon, the grand Imam of Osun State who also doubles as the Chief Imam of Osogbo land, Sheik Musa Animasahun who led the the congregation in a 2 rakaat prayers, appreciated the mightiness of Allah for giving all Muslims the grace to observe this year's fasting peacefully and joyfully from its beginning to the end.
He emphasized that to everything in life, there is a season which signifies what will become the end of mankind, admonishing people to always ask for forgiveness of sin and forsake it totally.
Consequently . he charged the congregation to always remember their last day on the surface heart which calls for doing good all the time.
The reverred Cleric urged people to serve God with the whole of their lives, saying that hell is real.
The Chief Imam also used the opportunity to pray for the State Governor and members of his yet to be formed cabinet for a successful tenure in office as he sought Gods wisdom, knowledge and capability for them to steer the affairs of the State.
