ANCOPSS President acknowledges Gov. Adeleke's intervention as saving grace for education collapse

The President, All Nigeria Confederation of Principals of Secondary Schools (ANCOPS), Southwest, Emmanuel Ijaodola has declared that the emergence of Senator Ademola Adeleke as the Governor of Osun State was the saving grace for a total collapse of education into which it has been precipitated over the years.
The President stated this in the office of the Governor, State Secretariat, Abere during a courtesy call on the State Chief Executive, noting that the Governor's approval for the distribution of instructional materials to Students in Secondary Schools has changed the fortunes of education in Osun.
He congratulated him that it was during his tenure that the Southwest, ANCOPSS President emerged from Osun in the history of the Association.
Mr Ijaodola used the avenue to invite the Governor to a 2-day programme which will feature quiz competitions, debate, stakeholders meeting on how to move education forward in the SouthWest, organising a retirement Programme for retirees among them, and confirment of award on some dignitaries including the State Deputy Governor, Prince Kola Adewusi, Yeye Dupe Adeleke-Sanni among notable personalities.
In his response, Governor Ademola Adeleke thanked the Association for it's commitment to the growth of education in the State.
He said his passion for education propelled him to renovate and rebuild dilapidated classrooms, and to provide befitting offices for teachers across the State so as make education conducive for teachers and pupils. He promised to prioritize teachers welfare and give them necessary support at all times, noting that he is committed to lifting education in Osun to a greater hight.
The State Helmsman therefore enjoined teachers in Osun to always organize quiz competitions for Students out of which the winer will be made a day Governor in the State so as to encourage them to be more committed to their studies. He urged them not to hesitate in making their plight known to government for quick intervention.
