The administration of Senator Ademola Adeleke is poised to put all necessary machinery in place to stem the tide of incessant irregularities associated with land acquisition and encroachments in the State.
To this end a working relationship is going to be put in place by the state government through a task force that will work hand in hand with the state Ministry of Lands and Physical Planning.
Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Estate Surveyor Oladapo Fasina dropped these hints among others during a live radio chat in Osogbo, the state capital.
ESV Fasina stressed that, it is now mandatory for all and sundry in the state to follow due process before carrying out any activity on government lands.
He reiterated that, it is also compulsory for all citizens of the state who owns land to collect their Certificate of Occupancy either in their local government area of residence, State Capital Territory or better still through the State Ministry of Lands and Physical Planning.
He maintained that the State Ministry of land and physical planning is the only authority statutorily in charge of all other agencies of government dealing with all issues in relation to lands in all the nooks and crannies of Osun.
The permanent Secretary who was accompanied by top management officers of the Ministry during the live radio interview programme appreciated the state Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke for his various developmental projects and successes recorded so far since he assumed office as the Governor of the state.
He prayed God Almighty to continue to grant him and his team more wisdom and sound health to take Osun to the promised land.
