Osun Commissioner For Finance, Mr Bola Oyebamiji has condoled with the Akire of Ikire kingdom, Oba Olatunde Falabi and the entire sons and daughters of the ancient town on the demise of the Queen of Akire, Olori Anthonia Aduke Falabi. The Commissioner stated this in a letter of condolence to the Akire of Ikire land and made available to newsmen in Osogbo on Saturday through the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Adegboyega Oyetola on Finance, Dr Wale Tijani. 2021 Isese Day: Osun Govt. declares, Friday a public Holiday.

The Governor  of the State of Osun , Mr Adegboyega Oyetola has declared Friday , the 20th of  August, 2021 as a public holiday  in commemoration of this year's  "Isese Day" festival.      A release issued and signed by the state  Commissioner for Home Affairs, Alhaji Tajudeen Lawal on behalf of the State Government said this years "ISESE DAY" will, however, not be marked with the usual  funfare.        Alhaji Lawal said the decision to that effect is anchored on the realisation of the increasing rate of the third wave of CoVID-19 in the country.       The Commissoner on behalf of the State Governor  congratulated the traditional religion worshippers throughout the State just as he also appealed to them to be peaceful and law abiding in their conducts before, during and after the festival.       He equally enjoined them to pray for the growth and development of  State and ...

Governor of the State of Osun, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola has reaffirmed that the well-being of Youths,at all levels,in the State is paramount to his administration.  Governor Oyetola gave the affirmation  at the year 2021edition of International Youth Day Celebration held at the Staff Development Centre, Osogbo, the State Capital.  He maintained that Government knows the importance of youth in the State, trumpeting that this is why he is doing everything possible to engage and develop them positively.  -Charges devotees to obey COVID-19 Protocols.   The State Government of Osun has admonished adherents of all religions in the State to embrace peace and love during and after the celebration of this year's Osun Osogbo Festival. The Commissioner for Culture and Tourism in Osun, Dr. Obawale Adebisi gave the counsel at the Press Conference organized by the Ministry in respect of the year 2021 Osun Osogbo Festival held at the State Secretariat in the State capital.   Governor of the state of Osun, Adegboyega Oyetola has said, his administration will continue to give necessary support to the growing  clamour for the revival and revitalisation of the dying Yoruba culture and tradition. Osun Govt. distributes Cocoa seedlings, agrochemicals, farm inputs to farmers.

To improve agriculture in Osun State, the administration of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola today distributed one hundred thousand hybrid cocoa seedlings to farmers . Similarly, it complimented the gesture with the free distribution of agrochemicals and other farm inputs valued at several millions of naira to farmers across the State.
