NEMA, Osun Govt. embarks on massive distribution of relief materials to flood victims.

        Osun State Deputy Governor, Benedit  Alabi has appreciated the collaborative effort of National Emergency Management Agency with  Osun State Government through the office of Osun State Emergency Management Agency to distribute relief materials to year 2021 flood victims in Osun and for the newly renovation of OSEMA Warehouse at Osogbo.     The Deputy Governor who was represented by the Senior Special Adviser to the Governor on Special Duties, Sunkanmi Ajiboye made this commendation at the direct distribution of Federal Government relief items to persons affected by flood disaster which took place at OSEMA warehouse, Osogbo.       He further reiterated  in his address that, "disaster remains retrogresive clog to many nations as it erodes recorded progress and development.This disaster can be averted if the people can comply with some certain precautionary measures and be vigilant and that the disaster ma...

Adire Eleko: Osun Govt. earmarks 12 hectres of land for contraction of Adire Market

 Sunday Okunade In order to  boost the production of locally made fabrics known as "Adire Osun" the State Government of Osun, under the leadership of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola, has set aside 12 hectres of land for the construction of Adire Osun market.  The Commissioner for Culture and Tourism in the State, Dr. Obawale Adebisi made this known in Osogbo during a meeting held with the  Adire Osun Producers Association, who were drawn from across the local governments  in the State. He disclosed that the Governor is not pleased with the rate at which Adire production is going into extinction, hence the need for its resuscitation. ....says successful applicants are being contacted through text messages and voice notes The State Government of Osun has warned residents, especially applicants in the Osun Teacher's Recruitment to disregard the fake list of shortlisted successful candidates flying around on the social media. Commissioner for Education, Hon. Folorunsho Oladoyin made this known in a statement he made available to newsmen in Osogbo on Sunday. The Commissioner who noted that the Ministry of Education has not released any list to the public, explained that the one thousand successful applicants are already being contacted through text messages and voice notes in batches.
