Isese 2022: The security of Osun is a collective responsibility, says Oyetola

 Sunday Okunade  Osun State Governor, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola has disclosed that the security of the  State remains the collective responsibility of all and sundry, noting that every resident of  the State must cooporate with the security agencies, be watchful, and report any suspicious movement to law enforcement agents.  Governor Oyetola stated this at the grand finale of the year 2022 Isese festival organised by the Traditional Religion Worshippers Association, Osun State Chapter (TRWASO), held in Osogbo, the State Capital.  Sunday Okunade The Supervisor for Osun Ministry of Culture Tourism, Mr Olalekan Badmus has charged the Traditional Religion Worshippers to cooperate with the State Government to eradicate ritual killings in the land. This charge was given  at a programme organised by the Traditional Religion Worshippers Association, Osun State Chapter (TRWASO), as part of the ongoing year 2022 Isese Festival with the theme " Ancient Yoruba Traditional Religion, and money Rituals, any relationship?", held in Osogbo, the State Capital which featured ancient poetry command performance (Ewi Alohun). Fiscal Transparency: Report ranks Osun first in Nigeria

....it is Oyetola's watchword  Finance Commissioner, Oyebamiji Kingsley 'Kunle Omoyeni The administration of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola has been ranked highest among other States in Nigeria in the area of Public Finance/Accountability through it's transparent nature of governance. In a report tagged: Subnational Audit Efficacy Index, with the theme: Leveraging Accountability for Subnational Development in Nigeria, the State of Osun was ranked 1st with 88%, a huge improvement on the last rating where the State was ranked 25th with 40%. According to the report, the State was applauded to have given  operationalization of financial autonomy to the Auditor General for State as well as to have conducted financial, compliance and performance audit for every financial year. Osun Osogbo Festival: We will explore our Tourism potentials for economic development, says Osun Governor

Sunday Okunade  Osun State Governor, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola has stated that his government will continue to explore the cultural and tourism potentials inherent in the State to drive her sustainable socioeconomic growth. The Governor stated this in Osogbo while delivering an address at the grand finale of this year's edition of Osun Osogbo Festival held at Osun groove. Governor Oyetola who was represented at the occasion by the Secretary to the State Government, Prince Wole Oyebamiji said the Osun Osogbo Festival has no doubt assumed an international status, thus making it to be very strategic to the State.  He said the festival has enlisted the State on the global map thereby attracting pilgrims and tourists from around the world to the state annually.
