Appeal Court Verdict: Osun Workers solidarise with Governor Adeleke

  Sunday Okunade Following the last Friday's Court of Appeal judgment, which affirmed the election of Senator Ademola Adeleke as the duely elected Governor of Osun State in the July 16, 2022 Governorship polls, workers in the public service of the State, this Monday morning, trooped out in their thousands  to solidarise with the Governor and to congratulate him on the victory. Workers who converged on the main entrance of the State Government Secretariat, Abere to usher in the Governor could not hide their feelings as they rejoiced, sang and danced with thunderous chant of the Governor's slogan,"Imole, imole, imole". Osun Health Ministry boss harps on the need to intensify awareness campaign on TB eradication

Segilola Babalola As Osun State  joins the rest of the world today to mark World Tuberculosis Day,the Permanent Secretary in the State Ministry of Health, Mr Kayode Adegoke has emphasized the need to increase the level of awareness on eradication of tuberculosis in the State. It would be recalled that the 24th March of every year is set aside by the World Health Organisation (WHO) to raise awareness about Tuberculosis epidemic and to make efforts to eradicate this global and devastating disease.  The Permanent Secretary made the advocacy today at a programme organized to mark Year 2023 edition of world tuberculosis day which was held in the EOC room of the Ministry. Ramadan: Osun Scribe charges Muslims to intensify prayers, imbibe lessons in the season

Opeyemi Bello  Secretary to the State  Government of Osun,  Alhaji Teslim Igbalaye has called on Muslims to exploit the Holy Month of Ramadan to intensify concentrated  prayers to the Almighty Allah. While wishing all Muslims a successful Ibaadat (religious obligation), Alhaji Igbalaye, in a Ramadan message,  urged them to use the period to rededicate their prayers to Almighty Allah in order to make life easier for all.   Sunday Okunade  Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke today received the report of the Committee on Staff Audit, Appointment and Promotion Review. The report briefing which was held at the State Government Secretariat complex, Abere had in attendance the Deputy Governor, Prince Kola Adewusi, Head of Service, Mr Ayanleye Aina and top political functionaries. Receiving the report, Governor Adeleke thanked the Committee for doing a great job and for making themselves available  to serve the State. He decried the lacadesical attitude of the last administration to civil service, noting that many things have to be reviewed. Over 250 flood victims in Ilesa East LG benefit from NEMA relief materials in Osun State
