The Governor of the State of Osun, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola, has appointed Hon. Sunday Akere and Hon. Debo Badru as his Special Advisers on Political Matters. The Commissioner for Information and Civic Orientation, Mrs. Funke Egbemode, announced the appointment in a statement issued after the State's Executive Council Meeting on Monday. According to the statement, Akere and Badru's appointments take effect from October 18, 2021. Akere, a former Commissioner of Information and Strategy in the State, is an alumnus of the University of Ibadan where he obtained a Bachelor of Science. ...as over 2000 beneficiaries shower encomiums on govt.   Osun State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola, has commenced the disbursement of Six Hundred and Thirty-Six Million, One Hundred and Ninety-Five Thousand Naira (N636.195,000.00) as soft loans to the citizens and residents of the State. Commissioner for Finance in Osun, Mr Bola Oyebamiji has called on the Revenue Allocation Mobilization Committee (RMFAC)  to do a review of the revenue allocation formula which will help states earn more from the Federal Accounts Allocation Committee (FAAC). The Commissioner stated this during a meeting with the Federal Commissioner representing Osun at RMFAC, Mr Oladele Gboyega in preparation for the South-West zonal public hearing on the review of the vertical revenue allocation formula.
