Kingsley 'Kunle Omoyeni Market women and other traders at Owode-Ede, Igbona in Osogbo and other markets located along major express roads in the State have been warned against displaying their goods beside the road on market days. Residents are also advised not to patronize traders who they see display their goods too close to the express road for their own safety and to allow free flow of traffic. The Executive Secretary, Osun State Office Of Transportation, Engr. Bilal Adiat gave the warning today while featuring on a radio program monitored in Osogbo. The Executive Secretary, Office Of Transportation, Engr. Bilal Adiat gave the warning while speaking during a popular radio program tagged "Aabo loju popo" monitored on OSBC radio in Osogbo. He said because petrol is scarce and expensive, hence commercial motorists have been found to improvise ways of reducing the fuel consumption of their vehicles so as to maximize profit. Engr. Bilal said most of the steps taken by the commercial drivers are against the mechanical set-up of the vehicles which could lead to inferno and loss of lives and properties. Segilola Babalola       The Permanent Secretary, Osun State Ministry of Health, Mr Kayode Adegoke has admonished parents and guardians to take the health of their wards serious by ensuring that they are fully vaccinated against any disease outbreak.
